Each megaproject must have a coordinator. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring the academic competence and quality of each megaproject.
The coordinator is tasked with the following:
- Contact person for the department’s megaproject in relation to the project manager for the megaprojects, colleagues in their own department, coordinators in other departments and external partners involved in the department's megaproject
- Coordination of the department's megaproject in conjunction with the project manager for the megaprojects, external partners and, where appropriate, the coordinators at other departments
- Participation in the working group with the project manager and coordinators at other departments, including
- Planning and participation in workshops, etc. for identifying and developing new challenges
- Planning of megaproject conferences and other events related to the megaprojects
- Evaluation of student collaboration in the megaprojects, their benefits of this, performance, etc.
- Adjustment of the structure, timetable, etc., for the megaprojects
- Developing communication on megaprojects
- Primary responsibility for developing and maintaining the content of the department's megaproject in conjunction with internal and external partners, including
- Coordinating the formulation of challenges in conjunction with the project manager and academic environments at other selected departments (across faculties) so as to ensure a sufficiently broad formulation of the challenges that can accommodate student projects in a number of different areas, including at least two faculties
- Ensuring the formulation of project proposals under the various challenges that fit with the themes of selected semesters in the department's programmes (project proposals with external partners should be prioritised)
- Serving as the overall link between the department and the external partners (e.g. in the formulation of challenges, project proposals, data delivery, cases, etc.)
